Work called this morning and asked me to come in on Wednesday instead of today as they are still in the midst of some housekeeping matters. They are letting go of five associates and, evidently, the letting-go process and subsequent re-arranging takes some time.
"But I'm all dressed and ready to go! In a carefully selected, focus-grouped ensemble! And I shaved my legs!"
Translation: "Thank you; I look forward to meeting everyone on Wednesday."
