Please pray for Annette, who was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis.
Please pray for Jill, who was very recently diagnosed with cancer.
Please pray for Raymond. He was treated for lung cancer last year and recently learned he has a brain tumor as well. Tomorrow, he is having surgery to remove a mass around his rib.
Please pray for Lisa, who recently gave birth to a healthy girl. Mom's physical health is fine, but she is traumatized to the point of flashbacks, anxiety attacks, etc. about the birth. She went from nothing to hard labor to baby in less than one hour with no time for an epidural and remains extremely traumatized by the experience of a natural birth. (Yes, I know that plenty of women have given birth naturally for...forever, and that some women even seek out a natural birth, but that is not the point here.)

Prayers being said...
That must have been traumatic all that happening in one hour. I progressed from 3 cm to 9 cm in 2 hours and THAT was painful. I was yelling for the epidural and muttering all sorts of gibberish at that point.
Oh, Allison, I can sympathise with your friend. This happened with my sixth child, but each labour before got shorter and shorter so I kinda knew what I was getting into. To have that happen *unexpectedly* fast and painful would indeed be traumatizing.
I'm going to read your post over a few more times and pray for your friends. You haven't blogged much on the job situation of late, so I will pray for you as well.
Mrs. C - this was her first kid! Crazy. I'm still unsure of how, exactly, 9lbs of baby gets out.
Job - I just started a new one. Not a happy camper, but my plan is to give it a year. The work is fun; the office is not.
Wishing everyone a return to good health and comfort and sending positive thoughts.
