Sorta how bare legs in a skirt were/are in. For winter.
I think I'm the only female in my generation who would consider going without nylons for a summery beach dress. Maybe. Then again, my skin is nearly blue so going bare-legged is practically an affront to public decency.
Anyway.
Do you see those? Those shorts have a "paper bag waist."
"Paper bag waist" sounds rawther shabby chic. Taking a cue from Mugatu's Dere-lict! campaign, are we?
Ladies, don't be fooled! The only people who should be wearing pleat-front bottoms - and that is what the "paper bag" is! - are the gentlemen who grace the pages of Brooks Brothers and L.L. Bean.
Just watchin' out for ya!
